Terms of Service

The terms for using JuniorAI

JuniorAI is a private assistant built and run by its owners for their own household. These terms cover the small set of people who actually have access to it.

Who can use it

JuniorAI isn't a public service. Access is limited to members of the household that runs it, over their own home network. There's no sign-up flow, and these terms apply only to that household, not to any wider audience.

The service

JuniorAI provides a chat assistant, web search, and Google Calendar management, running on hardware its owners control. It's an ongoing personal project, not a commercial product โ€” it may change, be taken offline, or be shut down entirely at any time, without notice.

Your responsibilities

Use JuniorAI for personal, household purposes. Anything typed into it is stored locally, as described in the Privacy Policy โ€” treat it accordingly. Connecting a Google Calendar is optional and can be disconnected at any time from within the app or from Google Account settings.

No warranty

JuniorAI is provided as-is, with no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Responses come from a language model and can be wrong โ€” important information should be verified independently, especially anything related to health, finances, or safety.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Since JuniorAI has no external users to notify, changes take effect as soon as this page is updated.

Questions

Any questions about these terms can be directed to the household members who operate JuniorAI.
