What JuniorAI does with your data

Who this applies to

JuniorAI has no public sign-up. It's used only by the household members who run it, on hardware they own, over their own home network. This policy covers their use of the assistant — there is no wider audience to cover.

Conversation history

Messages sent to JuniorAI are stored in a local database on the household's own computer. They are not uploaded to a cloud AI service — the language model that generates responses runs locally, on that same machine. Conversation history stays on that computer until a household member deletes it.

Google Calendar

A household member can connect their own Google Calendar. Doing so grants JuniorAI permission to view, create, edit, and delete events on that calendar, and only that calendar. This access is used solely to carry out calendar requests made directly to the assistant — never for advertising or profiling, and never shared with any third party.

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account settings, or by disconnecting the calendar from within JuniorAI.

Web search

When a request needs current information, JuniorAI sends the search query to Brave's Search API to retrieve results. No Brave account or advertising profile is created on behalf of any household member.

What JuniorAI doesn't do

It doesn't run analytics or trackers, doesn't sell or share data with advertisers, and doesn't use conversation or calendar content to train any model.
